The Delaware Department of Labor’s Division of Industrial Affairs is proud to announce the 2026 Small Business Bootcamp, a free, virtual event designed to equip entrepreneurs and small business owners with the knowledge and resources needed to thrive in today’s business climate. The Bootcamp will take place May 4 through May 8, 2026, in celebration of National Small Business Week.
This year’s Bootcamp will kick off the week with a series of five compliance-led, on-demand virtual workshops, allowing participants to learn at their convenience while gaining critical insights into Delaware’s labor laws and workplace requirements.
Workshop Topics Include:
• Anti-Discrimination
• Wage & Hour Enforcement
• Child Labor Laws
• Construction Enforcement
• Workers’ Compensation
• SafeDE (Workplace Safety & Health)
Each session is led by subject matter experts from the Delaware Department of Labor and is designed to help businesses stay compliant, reduce risk, and build a strong foundation for growth. “Small businesses are an integral part of Delaware’s economy, and their success depends on having clear, accessible information about the laws that support both employers and workers.
This Virtual Small Business Bootcamp is about meeting business owners where they are—providing practical guidance, reducing compliance challenges, and helping them build workplaces that are both legally sound and positioned for growth.”
Registration is now open and free to the public. For additional information, please contact Kelly Jones at kelly.jones@delaware.gov.
